Who we are
When emotional distress begins to interfere with daily life, relationships, or a young person’s sense of stability, families often search for support that is both compassionate and effective. Growing Beyond Therapeutic Services provides a calm, supportive space where young people feel safe to express themselves, process difficult experiences, and build the skills needed for meaningful and sustainable growth. We take a strengths-based, collaborative approach to therapy, meeting each individual where they are and tailoring treatment to their unique needs.
Our work centers on helping young people move beyond survival and develop the tools needed to regulate emotions, manage anxiety and stress, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen communication, and regain a sense of stability and confidence. We also work closely with parents to provide guidance and practical strategies that support progress at home and strengthen family relationships.
Therapy here is intentional, structured, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Treatment draws from approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and play and expressive therapies. Through these approaches, clients develop:
• Emotional regulation skills
• The ability to process and heal from traumatic experiences
• Greater self-awareness
• Stronger communication and healthier relationships
• Practical coping strategies for managing stress and anxiety
• A clearer sense of identity and direction
Our goal is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help young people build a strong foundation of stability, resilience, and confidence that supports long-term emotional well-being.

Meet Dr. Kelli Rogers, LCSW
If your child or teen seems overwhelmed by anxiety, big emotions, past trauma, or growing tension at home or school, you may be wondering how to help. Many families come to therapy feeling worried, exhausted, and unsure how to support their child through difficult emotions or behaviors. My goal is to provide a calm, supportive space where young people feel understood and parents gain guidance as we work together to help your child build emotional stability, healthier coping skills, stronger communication, and renewed confidence.
With over 20 years of experience supporting children and families affected by trauma, I help young people struggling with anxiety, trauma and PTSD, depression, intense emotions, and self-harm behaviors. I’m nationally certified in TF-CBT and also use DBT, ACT, and play and art-based techniques to help kids and teens build healthy coping skills, regulate emotions, and greater stability.
You don’t have to face this alone. I work closely with parents to understand what their child is experiencing and develop strategies to support progress at home. If you’re ready for thoughtful support, I would be honored to work with your child. I serve families across DFW, including Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, and secure online therapy throughout Texas.
